More new acts and a very special guest added to the Latitude line up!

Latitude festival have announced a glut of acts who will performe ver the three days of the festival. Probably the biggest name to be added so far is Radioheads Thom Yorke who will play the Obelisk Arena in a rae solo show. He will be joined by indie popsters Of Montreal who will bring their bouncy muisc and often gloomy lyrics to the picturesque out doors stage.

Over on the Uncut Arena James Claphams band Maps, Swedish electro pop artist Lykkie Lie and
Karin Dreijer Andersson, former singer with ‘90s pop hopes Honey Is Cool and one half of electronic duo The Knife, brings her latest incarnation Fever Ray to the festival. Singer, actress, burlesque performer, ex-magician’s assistant Paloma Faith brings her vampish take on blues and soul music to the arena. Expect the unexpected where she is concerned! Also look out for the indie dance trio Saint Etienne and Austrailian rock band The Temper Trap.

One of the big breakthroughs from this year’s SXSW showcase was Local Natives who have been wowing crowds both here in the UK and on home soil in USA. With a hugley anticipated debut album out later this year it will be well worth taking the walk through the fairytale woods to reach the Sunrise Arena to see them. Brighton three piece Mirrors and Huw Stephens tipped Sky Larkin have also been confirmed for the Sunrise Arena. They will be joined byGoldheart Assembly who have been compared to Fleet Foxes in style and Dublins Villagers. Kap Bambino who hail from Bordeaux in France bring their bleeps and bloops from old school video games mixed with dancefloor beats to the stage for a performance that should see the arena dancing to the sound of Pac-man!

The Lake Stage is being curated by Radio 1's Huw Stephens this years. Bands confimed so far for the stage are AlfonzoCamera Obscura and  St Vincent
