is the debut offering from hip Parisian four piece Fortune. Coming across in the same chart friendly vibe as Hot Chip, Highway is a loose limbed and rather bouncy affair that has had me frugging away in my chair as I have listened through the E.P.

A pitch shifting intro winds it's way up into the track as hand claps and electro beats come half way down to meet it's ascent before a synthesized vocal kicks in and lazily floats over the top of the whole track. The track climaxes with the kind of glistening effect that's reminiscent of tracks such as
"Stars" by Mr Fingers and Carl Craigs "Sparkle".

The E.P is made up of three remix tracks by
James PantsTepr and, for the house heads out there, New York's Eli Escobar who delivers a deep, dubbed out mix which blossoms out into a chunk of the original song. Tepr's remix offers more of a big roomed electro monster of a mix which is sure to get everyone moving along with it.

All in all a really nice E.P which nicely mixes up different versions of the track, one of which will fit almost any situation or mood. I feel that fortune have hit a vain here with tracks that could appeal to the hardcore dance music fan as well as having a more mainstream appeal to the casual listener, give it a listen, you never know, you just might like it!
